A pensioner has been taken to hospital after being attacked by a gang.
Police have released a computer-generated image of a teenager they want to speak to following the serious assault, in Westgate.
The victim, a man in his 70s, was attacked after confronting a group of four young people after finding them in the communal area of a building in Canterbury Road, close to Westgate Library, on Tuesday, February 7.
His attackers only relented and left the scene after being challenged by a second person.
Emergency services attended, and the victim was taken to the QEQM Hospital in Margate with injuries to his head and feet.
Detectives are now searching for those responsible, and have released the image of a suspect as part of their investigation.
The first suspect was described as a slim white boy aged 14 or 15 and around 5ft.
He had blonde curly hair and wore a black hooded top, dark trousers, and black and white trainers.
The second suspect was believed to be a slim white person in his 20s, and wore a hooded top pulled tight around his face.
The third boy was mixed race, around 14 or 15 years old with a stocky build. He wore a light blue hooded top and had short hair, shaved at the sides.
The fourth suspect was a white girl, of similar age with long brown hair.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information, or anyone who recognises the person in the e-fit, to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/23933/23.
