Firefighters and an ambulance were called to a fire in Ramsgate this afternoon.
The blaze broke out in the ground floor of the house in Coleman Cresent at around 2.30pm.
One person has been taken to hospital.
The British Red Cross support vehicle also attended to support the residents.
It is believed that the cause of the fire was accidental, possibly due to a candle.
It took firefighters less than half an hour to put out.
