A person was treated for burns after four fire engines were called to a blaze last night.
The crews battled the flames at an outbuilding which was well alight in in Westbury Road, Westgate-on-Sea.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus fought the flames for an hour before declaring a stop time of 10.08pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "One person with burns was handed into the care of paramedics, and the cause of the fire is not yet known."
