Pirates are set to invade Thanet next weekend in a charity day featuring activities for all the family and a special appearance from Jack Sparrow.
Westwood Cross Shopping Centre in Broadstairs is holding its One Great Pirarte Day for Great Ormond Street and Demelza Hospice.
The event on Saturday, June 15 will feature Johnny Depp's body double from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.
There will be a 'Yo Ho Ho Disco', pirate tales, street party, magic shows and dance competitions and loads more activities around the shopping centre including at the pop-up park outside Debenhams and the Viking Ship near Next.
The kmfm Street Team will be on hand to give shoppers a chance to win up to £200 in gift cards to use at Westwood Cross.
The fun starts at 11am until 4pm as the day aims to raise lots of money for charity.
Francesca Donovan, centre manager at Westwood Cross, said: “One Great Day is an incredible charitable initiative that changes the lives of thousands of children, so we did not hesitate to get involved.
"Our pirate-themed One Great Day will bring together exciting activities, competitions and entertainment for an unforgettable family day out.
"It launches our summer season of fun, with lots of events and activities planned throughout the summer holidays.
"We hope to welcome lots of families to the centre to enjoy a fun-packed day, and to raise lots of money for some very important causes. There’s so much to do and see you will not want to miss it."
Staff took part in a sponsored bike ride on June 6 - the centre's 14th birthday - dressed as pirates cycling 10 miles from the Viking Ship at Westwood Cross to the Sandwich Bay Sailing and Water-ski Club.
Shops and centre managers will go head to head in a fundraising quiz on June 14 raising more cash for charity.
