A woman in her 20s has fallen from a cliff in Margate.

A number of police vehicles and paramedics were called to the scene in Palm Bay Avenue.

The woman has been taken to a London hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.

The area was reportedly taped off.

A police spokesman added: "Officers are currently at the Palm Bay Avenue area of Margate.

"Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
