Police are appealing for information after it was reported a man exposed himself on a beach.

The incident happened in Thanet at about 2.15pm on Wednesday, May 17.

The man was in the car park area of Botany Bay in Broadstairs and walked onto the beach in the direction of Kingsgate Bay.

The suspect is described as being a white male, in his 50s, about 5ft 7inches tall, and of average build.

He was wearing a dark coloured hat, a blue t-shirt and dark coloured shorts. He also had a black bag and had an orange or yellow coloured towel.
