Police are appealing for information to help find a missing man.

Sam Dean, 48, was last seen in Ramsgate Road, Margate at 4.25pm today.

Officers are concerned for his welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen him to get in contact.

He has also been sighted in Hopeville Avenue, Broadstairs and he has links to the Dartford area.

Mr Dean is white and is thought to be wearing an orange T-shirt, brown zipped cardigan, beige shorts and brown boots.

Police believe he is carrying a black rucksack.

Anyone who sees Mr Dean is urged to call Kent Police on 999 quoting 08-1043.
