Detectives investigating burglaries have arrested a suspect after a spate of incidents in Margate and Cliftonville.

The 24-year-old suspect, of no fixed address was stopped in King Street in Margate this morning (Thursday, September 15).

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary and on suspicion of going equipped for theft. He remains in police custody while police inquiries continue.
