A suspect has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a man reportedly robbed of money in a town centre park.
Five people were arrested following the incident in Ramsgate in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police and paramedics had been called shortly before 2am to an address in Camden Square, where a man in his 40s was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital.
It was reported money had been stolen from him during a robbery in nearby Boundary Park a short while earlier.
The area was subsequently cordoned off for several hours while officers carried out inquiries.
Following an investigation, two men and three women were arrested.
A 44-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and two 37-year-old women, all from Ramsgate, were bailed pending further inquiries.
Karl Webb, 46, of no fixed address, was charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, and possession of a blade in a public place.
He was remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
