Police are searching for a thief after electronic devices were stolen from a parked car.
A Tom Tom sat nav worth £50 and two mobile phones were taken in the incident in Royal Esplanade, Ramsgate.
Police sergeant Bev Kelsey said: "Thieves will wander around a neighbourhood looking for opportunities to steal your belongings.
"Don’t give them that opportunity. Remove items from your car before leaving it unattended.
"Unfortunately, criminals will smash your car window for loose change, a packet of cigarettes or even a cheap pair of sunglasses.
"They do not care for the inconvenience and cost of having your vehicle repaired so when you leave your car, make sure valuables are out of sight."
