A pregnant woman lured the father of her unborn child into a brutal knife attack in which he was stabbed 10 times, it has been alleged.
A jury has heard that Jwan Surani recruited her sister and younger brother before taking part in the assault on unsuspecting victim Murat Guzeller.
He was then knifed 10 times and left in the street covered in blood, it has been claimed.
Prosecutor Vivian Walters told the jury at Canterbury Crown Court that the motive for the incident in 2015 was unknown.
"But it is likely to have been her anger at his infidelity and the dishonour that his behaviour brought upon her and her family, " she claimed.
Jwan, 24, sister Viyan and brother Karwan, 18; all from Chingford, have denied wounding Mr Guzeller almost three years ago with intent to cause him serious harm.
Ms Walters claimed: "The stabbing happened outside Harold Road in Margate on October 25 at around 10pm.
"Jwan and her ex-partner had separated but had at the time a 16-month-old daughter and she was seven months pregnant.
"Mr Gueller states that they had split up and were not in touch, although he was trying to decide if he should give it another go with Jwan for the sake of their daughter and the new child," she claimed.
The jury heard a friend of Mr Guzeller woke him to say Jwan was at the house asking to speak to him. She asked if they could talk but wanted to do it outside.”
"He realised he had been stabbed and went into shock..." - prosecutor Vivian Walters
The prosecutor alleged that as the friend went to take his dog for a walk, Jwan began shouting at Mr Guzeller "about him having another woman" before slapping his face.
Ms Walters alleged: "He was then grabbed from behind and struggled to break free and ended up in the road.
"He saw it was Viyan who had grabbed him and then caught sight of Karwan who slashed at him with a knife which struck his left-side of his body.
"He realised he had been stabbed and went into shock. Karwan stabbed him again and again as Jwan was shouting and screaming," she claimed.
Jwan and Viyan then ran to a waiting black Nissan and were joined by Karwan after Mr Guzeller had managed to fight him off.
The prosecutor said that Mr Guzeller managed to get back to the house "in agony and covered in blood".
He was taken to QEQM Hospital before being transferred to King’s College Hospital in London and treated for wounds to his shoulder, elbow, chest, thigh and buttocks.
