The rainbow flag leads the way for thousands of supporters

Rainbow hues dazzled in the sunshine as Margate some 10,000 people marched in the second Thanet Pride parade.

Visitors attended from all over Britain to help make the day a great success.

The event aimed at the gay, lesbian, transvestite, bisexual and crossdressing community marched from the Winter Gardens to the main stage on Margate seafront.
