Bikers from as far away as Belgium and Germany will be paying a seasonal visit to Margate on Saturday night (Nov 28) to join in the festive fun at the Rejects Brotherhood’s Early Christmas Party at the Lido.
The annual party has been running now for more than 10 years, and this year the bands entertaining the party-goers will be well known to regulars at Rejects events, both having played the Christmas party and the Drink, Drop and Doss rally, which was held earlier this year for the 23rd time.
The first band on is a very talented young group called Purity, pictured, who belt out a good range of rock music from the classics through to more modern stuff, plus their own songs.
The headlining band is an old Rejects favorite from west London called Rough Justice, and they will be rocking the joint with covers from AC/DC, Green Day, Queen and Metallica.
The venue for the party -- the Lido at Cliftonville, which has undergone vast refurbishment since last year’s event – opens the doors at 8pm and the partying goes on till 1am.
There will be the usual rock disco during the band breaks, with requests. Tickets for the party are £3.

Looking ahead, tickets for AC/DC tribute band, Whole Lotta DC, who are appearing at the Lido on March 13, will be on sale soon.
