Substitute Sam Jones scored the only goal 20 minutes from time as Ramsgate returned to Ryman League Division 1 South action with a fine win over Croydon Athletic at Southwood.

Returning keeper Danny Twyman made some fine saves to thwart the title-chasing visitors, who are the division's leading scorers, and secure the Rams' fourth clean sheet in a row.

It was also a fourth successive home win in all competitions for Jim Ward's, pictured, side as they rose to 11th in the table.
