Ramsgate eased into the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy after a comfortable 3-0 win against Leatherhead at Southwood.

Jim Ward's, pictured, side were ahead within five minutes when Liam Quinn looped a header over the Ryman League Division 1 South side's keeper.

Gary Mickelborough doubled the advantage five minutes after the break with his eighth goal of the season and Quinn sealed his side's progress with a thumping drive into the top corner after 65 minutes.

The win was the Rams third on the bounce at home and the clean sheet was their first since the opening day of the season.
