A Ramsgate man has been charged with murder after a pensioner was found dead in a Ramsgate bungalow.
Andrew Rowe is to appeared at Canterbury Magistrate's Court today accused of killing 73-year-old Phillip Pennelegion.
The 32-year-old, of Allenby Road, was held after the discovery of Mr Pennelegion's body in the bedroom of a bungalow in Allenby Road on Monday afternoon.
A police spokesman was unable to say if Rowe was related to the dead man.
Forensics experts in protective suits were picture outside the home yesterday as investigations continued.
They were first called at 3pm on Monday and officers remained at the scene for several hours.
One neighbour said a row of bungalows was cordoned off and a police officer stood guard outside.
She said forensics staff were seen taking pictures as a private ambulance arrived at about 8pm.
