Police were called after a person was found dead in a Ramsgate tower block today.

At least three patrol cars were spotted at Kennedy House, in Newcastle Hill, at about 11am.

Officers were alerted after a body was discovered in a communal hallway.

A police spokesman said the death is being treated as non-suspicious.

Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service were also spotted at the scene.
