A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Westgate-on-Sea.
The accident happened in St Mildred's Road, near the A28 Canterbury Road just before 9.30am.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
The road was shut in both directions, but has since reopened.
Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at 9.26am.
"Officers are attending the scene in St Mildred’s Road near the junction with Canterbury Road in Westgate-on-Sea.
"A man has been taken to a local hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening."
