A road was closed in both directions after a crash involving three vehicles.

Emergency crews were at the scene of the incident on the A28 Canterbury Road in Brooksend near Birchington by the junction with Seamark Road.

It happened at about 6.45am and police closed the road in both directions while they responded to the incident.

The road has since reopened.

Ambulance crews have been approached for comment.
