They say third time’s the charm and after two well-crafted albums, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes are set to showcase their third - End Of Suffering.
In the lead-up to its release, the punk-rock group will be performing a series of intimate shows across the UK and Europe.
And on Saturday, February 9, they’ll be at the Ballroom in Margate’s Dreamland.
Former Gallows frontman Carter and his bandmates will bring their trademark intensity and raucous presence to the seaside venue, giving fans a first glimpse of the End Of Suffering in a live setting.
Promoters say: “Recorded in just six months over the heatwave that engulfed London last year, End Of Suffering, named after the Buddhist term for enlightment, is the sound of a band entering an entirely new realm of the sense; 40 minutes of molten-hot bangers, scorched-soul ballads and grunge lullabies laced through with a lacerating lyrical honesty.
“In an age of say-nothing pop and codified corporate rock, End Of Suffering does what all great music should - lift the spirits and stir the soul."
Tickets, which went on sale on this morning (Monday), start from £18.
The gig is open to all ages, but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Also on February 9, electronics star Hannah Wants will be playing at the park’s Hall By The Sea.
Following a successful show in December, Southbeats is returning to Dreamland with headliner Hannah Wants from 9pm until 2am - with last entry at 11pm.
Tickets cost from £20 and the gig is for those aged 18 and above only.
