Police in Thanet have been involved in another crash involving a member of the public.
The accident at 5.50pm on Wednesday on Boundary Road, Ramsgate is the second smash this week.
It happened when a police car on a 999 call crashed into a green Ford Fiesta, before colliding with a pedestrian and hitting a grey Seat Ibiza.
The pedestrian, a 57-year-old man, was taken to the QEQM Hospital in Margate after suffering cuts and bruising. The passenger in the police car, a male officer, was treated for neck pain.
Wednesday's accident followed another (see above), unconnected incident on Tuesday morning, when a police car responding to reports of a man threatening to take his life in Ramsgate Road, Margate collided with a van.
One police officer had to be cut free by fire crews and three men were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said both incidents are being investigated by the force's professional standards department.
