The UK's largest Wetherspoon will reopen tomorrow following a three-day closure brought about by staff sickness.

Normal service will resume at the Royal Victoria Pavilion in Ramsgate from 8pm.

The pub "voluntarily" shut on Monday following an illness outbreak among staff.

It sparked a deep clean of the site, which boasts more than a hundred tables.

Thanet District Council's environmental health were informed of the closure and sickness outbreak.

The Wetherspoon press office could not confirm what the illness was.
