Six people have been arrested after a drugs raid at a house.

Officers detained four men and two women after attending a property in Grotto Hill, Margate, at about 11am yesterday.

Drugs and mobile phones were seized on arrival.

A 44-year-old woman from Margate and a woman, 24, from Broadstairs were arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

A homeless man, 27, and a 21-year-old from Westgate-on-Sea, were detained on suspicion of the same offence.

In addition, two men aged 29 and 21 from Margate were arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment.

All six people have been released pending further investigation.
