The stage looks to be set for the West Cliff Hall as is to go under the hammer.
The former theatre and concert venue in Paragon, Ramsgate is being sold by Thanet District Council via Clive Emson auctions.
Situated in Westcliff Promenade, the property has been vacant for more than a decade.
Project MotorHouse has been looking to transform the site for a number of years, but has been unable to raise sufficient funding.
The freehold guide price for the lot is £100,000 plus.
Auctioneer Kevin Gilbert said: "There might be many directions in which this building could be taken.
"Of course all consents must be obtained prior to any work starting.
"The premises are accessed through a sunken garden passing under the West Cliff Promenade before opening onto a terrace with views over the marina and harbour."
Another site which has been subject to campaign in Ramsgate is also being sold off.
The Western Undercliff cafe and toilet block on Royal Harbour approach has a freehold guide price of £100,000 plus.
It is also being sold by Thanet council, having been shut for several years following devastating flood damage.
