Built on a former cauliflower farm in Kent, Britain's biggest greenhouse complex is now open for business.
Thanet Earth covers an area of land equivalent in size to around 25 football pitches and uses the latest technology to grow tomatoes, pepper and cucumbers all year round.
The first produce to be grown at the site near Birchington went on sale at a nearby supermarket last week and will eventually boost the UK's salad industry by 15 per cent.
Our video above shows plants growing inside the enormous greenhouses for the very first time.
