A teenager has been airlifted to hospital with a leg injury following a moped crash.

The 18-year-old was injured in the crash in Dane Valley Road, Margate, at about 7.30pm yesterday.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, and the teen was airlifted to a local hospital with a leg injury.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
