A teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a door was allegedly set alight.

Police were called to the blaze in Crescent Road, Ramsgate at around 11.20pm yesterday.

A 17-year-old boy from Ramsgate was arrested on suspicion of arson during the early hours of this morning.

He remains in police custody.

No one was injured in the fire.
