A 16-year-old boy arrested in Margate on suspicion of the murder of another teenager has been charged.

He was detained in Margate by Kent Police on Monday in connection with an unrelated incident, and taken to a north London police station.

The boy has now been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Munashe Charles Kutyauripo, known as Charlie, in Woodford on Saturday, January 9.

He is due to appear at Willesden Youth Court today.
