A teenager has been airlifted to hospital after being assaulted in Ramsgate.
The 17-year-old was attacked in an alley behind houses in Prestedge Avenue.
Early reports suggested he had been stabbed but this is not clear.
Emergency services were called just after 2pm and the Kent Air Ambulance landed at Broadstairs Cricket Club.
The boy was flown to a local hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
He was conscious when police arrived and told officers he was attacked by a white man wearing a black hooded top and trainers.
Police say they are treating the attack as an assault, and are appealing for witnesses.
