After more than 30 minutes, officers managed to stop the vehicle using a stinger device between junction 5 for Sittingbourne and 4 for Gillingham, and two people were arrested.

Joseph Hernandez, 19, of no fixed address, and a 16-year-old boy from London have since been charged with three counts of handling stolen goods.

Hernandez has also been charged with driving while disqualified, without due care and attention and without a licence, using a vehicle without third party insurance, and failing to stop for police.
