Ska legends The Specials will be coming to Dreamland for a Bank Holiday gig this summer after lockdown restrictions have lifted.
The band will be joined by special guests and will take to the Margate theme park's Scenic Stage for the live music event on August 28.
It is the first big event to be announced by Dreamland bosses as they prepare to reopen later this year, once all restrictions, including social distancing, have been lifted.
A park spokesman said: "We’re excited to announce that The Specials will be coming to Dreamland this August Bank Holiday weekend.
"They are back with ten songs on a brand new album.
"Influential, important and exhilarating live, they are a band embedded in this country's DNA.
"It is impossible to envisage the musical landscape without them, from the startling, angular Gangsters in 1979 to their swan song, the epoch-making Ghost Town in 1981.
"They infused ska with punk, homegrown political anxiety with wider issues"
The Specials' rise was swift and within two years, the band had seven hit singles including two number ones, two hit albums and sell-out tours.
This is an 18+ event. Over 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is on Saturday, August 28, 7pm to 11pm, doors open at 5pm.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, April 1 at 9am.
