A Land Rover has been burned out and dumped in a field after being taken by thieves.

The vehicle had been parked on the roadside in Edge End Road in Broadstairs and was stolen at some point between 5pm on Monday and 5.30am the following day.

The khaki green Land Rover Series 3 was found dumped and burned out in a field near Margate later than day.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about the theft or if they witnessed something suspicious in the area which might assist enquiries.
