Three cars torched in Price's Avenue in Ramsgate

Fire crews were called to a street in the early hours after three parked cars were set on fire.

Firefighters went to Price's Avenue in Ramsgate just before 2am on Thursday and put out the blaze, which caused damage to a building near to the burning vehicles.

No one was injured and an investigation has been launched.

The incident, which is being treated as suspicious, is the latest in a spate of care fires in the district.

Four cars were torched in Broadstairs and Ramsgate in April, and just days later seven more targeted in five different streets in Ramsgate.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Price's Avenue before 2am on Thursday is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/107008/20.
