Three men have been charged after building materials and scrap metal were stolen.

Scrap metal and heating equipment were taken from a property in Stone Road, Broadstairs, on March 1.

Then on April 3, building materials were taken from inside an address in Cross Road in Birchington.

An investigation by police led to the arrests of three men on Friday, April 5.

Yanko Mladenov, 23, was later charged with conspiracy to steal, driving without a licence and without insurance.

Vasko Mladenov, 31 and Mitko Mladenov, 32, were charged with conspiracy to steal.

The three suspects - all of Caxton Road, Margate - were remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
