Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a police car.

Police, fire crews and paramedics attended the Eastern Esplanade in Margate at around 7.20pm last night.

The road was closed will police officers conducted their inquiries.

A spokesman for Kent Police confirmed three people suffered what are understood to be minor injuries.
