Delays have now cleared after a crash involving three vehicles at a busy junction in Birchington.

It happened at 3.30pm at the junction of the A28 Canterbury Road and Park Lane, close to The Square.

Police spokesman Sally Smith said: "Police were called to Canterbury Road, Birchington at 3.30pm today following a report of a collision involving three vehicles.

"The incident is not reported to be serious and it is expected the carriageway will be clear shortly."

No one is thought to have been injured.

Queues had eased by 5.30pm.
