Till stolen from business in Broadstairs High Street break-in

A till containing cash has been swiped in a break-in at a town centre business.

The burglary took place at a commercial premises in Broadstairs High Street at about midnight on Sunday.

The building's back door was reportedly damaged in the incident and a till containing cash was stolen.

Police are investigating the burglary and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesman said: "Anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage taken in the High Street area near to the junction with Carlton Avenue at the time of the burglary is also urged to get in touch."
