Thanet landmarks can be seen in the trailer released for Juliet, Naked.
Film favourties including Ethan Hawke, Rose Bryne and Chris O'Dowd were spotted filming in Broadstairs and Ramsgate last summer.
The film is an adaptation of the 2009 book by Nick Hornby.
While in the seaside towns last July and August, many were eager to grab a selfie with stars.
Kent Surf School owners Andy Webb even offered them surf lessons - which they had to decline due to their busy schedule.
Speaking at the time, Mr Webb said: "We hosted the stars and crews for them to do their hair, make-up and keep warm.
"They were really friendly and said they loved Broadstairs, having not been here before.
"I did offer them surf lessons, but sadly they said they couldn't because of their busy schedule - it was such a shame!"
Lisa Teall, who runs the Tanning Lounge in Belvedere Road, Broadstairs, was delighted when Ethan Hawke popped in her shop.
"He was very pleasant and lovely," she said.
"I asked him if he had enjoyed his time in Broadstairs and he said it had been great.
"It was non-stop excitement when the stars and film crews were in town."
The book, soon to be film, tells the story of Annie, the long-suffering girlfriend of obsessed music fan Duncan, and the object of his obsession, fictional singer-songwriter Tucker Crowe.
The film has been earmarked for release in the US on August 17 and will be making its debut here in the UK on November 2.
