A 14-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with a robbery on a train.
Police released CCTV images of people they wanted to speak to after boys aged 15 and 13 were allegedly robbed on trains travelling through Thanet.
Detectives received an "overwhelming response" and since arrested a 14-year-old boy, from the Halling area.
He was charged with robbery and four counts of assault on police officers.
The youngster appeared at Margate Youth Court today, where he pleaded guilty to all five charges and was bailed to appear at Margate Youth Court on Wednesday, February 4.
Police also arrested an 18-year-old man from Gillingham on suspicion of robbery, who has been bailed pending further enquiries until Monday.
Detective Constable Bob Gee said: "I would like to thank the media and the public for their overwhelming response to this appeal."
