Armed police were called to a post office after reports two men with a knife threatened staff and stole cash from a till.

Officers arrived at Dumpton Post Office in Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs just before 6.45am after receiving calls about a robbery.

The suspects left the scene on a moped and two men have since been arrested and taken into custody.
