Two men have been arrested after a man was reportedly pinned up against a car and robbed when he was asked for cigarettes.
A man in his 50s was walking his dog in Victoria Road, Ramsgate, at about 12.45am today when he was approached by two men.
They asked for cigarettes and when he refused, he was allegedly pinned against a vehicle while his pockets were searched.
Items including cash, a bank card and a packet of cigarettes were allegedly swiped.
Officers rushed to the scene and two men, a 46-year-old from Ramsgate and a 39-year-old of no fixed address, were arrested and taken into custody.
