Two fire engines were called to extinguish the fire at a property in Draco Drive, Margate at 5.42pm.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a jet hose to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported and firefighters from Kent Fire and Rescue Services were able to deal with the incident quickly.
