Clive Richards, who runs Battles for Victory with his wife Caroline, said: "It was a very enjoyable event – it was very, very hot.
"We had lots of living history and reenactment groups, military vehicles and trade stalls, and we give space to good causes for free. It's a great family event." This year, military charities Royal British Legion and Homes for Heroes UK were among charities which raised money by holding stalls at the festival.
A range of attractions to suit all ages included a fun fair, miniature steam engine, retro musical acts and a real ale bar.
