Volunteers have been offering support after a fire broke out.
Crews were called to High Street, Ramsgate, just after 4pm where a blaze had started in the first-floor bedroom of a property.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said there were no reports of any injuries but volunteers from KFRS and British Red Cross had provided support to the occupiers. An engineer from UK Power Networks was also called in to check the area was safe.
Firefighters on two engines attended, extinguishing the blaze using a high-pressure hose reel jet. It was all over by 5.20pm.
The cause is not known.
