A motorist is warning others to lock the doors of their cars when driving after she was approached by a man who then 'chased her vehicle'.
The driver posted the warning on social media about the incident in The Centre in Newington, Ramsgate, saying a man had approached the driver's side door.
She said the man then chased her car.
Another woman posted about a man running up to a woman in an alleyway by Newington Community Primary School in Ramsgate.
A police spokesman confirmed officers had been called just after 8am today to a report a man approached the occupants of a car in Newington.
"The man is reported to have approached the driver’s side door and the motorist drove away before any communication was made," he said.
"Initial inquiries to establish the full circumstances are underway."
