Margate crashed out the FA Trophy at the first hurdle, going down 3-1 away at Wealdstone.
New signing Samson King scored the visitors only goal after Gate had gone 2-0 down.
Gate had their chances to take a lead early on, but were ultimately punished just after the break. Mark E'Beyer opened the scoring for the home side on 55 minutes, before Charlie Mpi doubled their lead 11 minutes later.
King netted with 20 minutes to go, but despite throwing men forward, the Blues couldn't find an equaliser.
Two minutes into added time, Weadstone put the game beyond doubt, as Ross Lafayette break free to seal a 3-1 win.
