Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a young woman was found unconscious.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was found in Hereson Road, Ramsgate, on the corner of Montefiore Avenue at about 4am yesterday.
She was found by four members of the public who were travelling by car past the area and stopped to see if she was OK.
They took her to hospital where she was checked over.
No injuries were reported and the woman is no longer in hospital, but officers are trying to establish the circumstances of what happened to determine whether or not any offences have been committed.
It is believed the woman had been dropped off in that area after travelling by taxi with a group of friends from Marine Parade, Ramsgate, between 3am and 4am.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious.
They would specifically like to speak to the witnesses who took her to hospital and the driver of the taxi.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 01843 222289, quoting ZY/28836/17. To remain anonymous, call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
