Motorists are suffering long delays after two separate crashes on a busy road in Ramsgate.

Three cars were involved in the first crash coastbound on the A299 Hengist Way at about 5pm.

No-one was injured but it caused long delays, and when firefighters arrived they discovered another crash further up the road involving one car.

A woman was cut free from the wreckage and treated by paramedics before being taken to a local hospital.
