A woman was found dead at a property in a town centre following a “medical incident”.

Emergency services were called to King Street in Ramsgate yesterday at about 4.45pm.

Ambulance crews alerted police and a woman in her 60s was confirmed to have died.

A police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to a medical incident at a property in King Street, Ramsgate.

“Officers attended the scene where a woman in her 60s was confirmed to be deceased.

“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.

“The deceased’s next of kin have been informed.”
