Fire crews had to a rescue a woman after she became stuck in a charity clothing bin last night.

The 23-year-old climbed into the bin outside Sainsbury's, Westwood Cross, Thanet, after her boyfriend accidently threw away some of her clothes.

After finding she was unable to climb back through the entrance hatch, she called for help and a passer-by then alerted the emergency services.

Fire crews from Thanet(Westwood) prised open the bin using hydraulic cutting equipment.

The woman retrieved her outfits.
